So I may not have the best taste in movies, but I am pretty stoked about these…
Astro Boy…in glorious CGI
Fast And Furious (AKA THE Fast And THE Furious 4)
Aaaaaand…
Where the Wild Things Are (This isn’t an acutual trailer x-( )
I know I just told you about one of my new favorite MCs only a few short days ago, but like I said something great was on the way. I’d like to present to you (by way of Brandun Deshay’s own personal site) “VOLUME TWO FOR THE SHOW ‘EM!” It dropped sometime this week I believe, but I wanted to give it a thorough listen before posting it up, in an attempt to identify my favorite tracks on his new tape…which I could not do. I can probably narrow it down to a top 12, but that doesn’t say much 22 tracks lol. Anyway, if you did yourself the favor and downloaded Volume 1, then go ahead and click one of the links for Volume 2 and you will not be dissappointed. Volume 1 dropped earlier this year, and it’s amazing to see how much he’s grown in such a short amount of time. He also has some notable features, but I’ll let you see/hear them for yourself when you download the tape.

This is the Samsung Memoir. Set to release in the very near future (maybe even out now) with T-Mobil. I hear their coverage/service sucks, but this is a pretty cool phone. It’s touchscreen, which pretty much every phone is now, aaaand it has an 8MP camera with built-in Xenon flash. This pretty much drops a huge stinkin’ deuce on the Omnia.’s measly 5MP! Samsung, why do you have to screw Verizon the way you do.

So I guess the theme of today is concepts, and so I present yet another to you. This is the new PSP, errrr the PSP 2. Supposedly Sony is ditching the UMD format which means two things: 1) Longer battery life and (2) the unit/system itself could be even thinner than it’s previous incarnation. Check out one the early renderings…pretty dope right? And supposedly, it’s supposed to be released Holiday ’09.

So I know that this isn’t new by any means, but since we are still relatively new to this blogging thing, it’s okay to post this ha! This ladies and gentlemen is the Lamborghini Estoque. Currently it’s just a concept, but concepts make it to production all the time. It would be the Italian supercar maker’s first sport sedan…not too shabby for a first stab (or 1000th for that matter). If it does make it to production, I WILL own one of these before I die…even if I have to wait until 2056 and get a used 2013 model lol.

So I had the pleasure of being introduced to a new dynamic duo straight outta the nation’s capital. They are called “The Upperclassmen” and the group is composed of Kenneth (Ken) Hill [Singer/Rapper/Songwriter] and Michael (Rune) Ware [Rapper/Songwriter]. The two had both been making music independently for some time, until they linked up to form the group. And apparently their hard work has paid off, because the two landed a deal with record label District Records. The music primarily has a hip-hop sound, but you can hear elements taken from other genres in their music as well. Word is that they are working on a mixtape to hold the fans over until they release their first album this summer (’09), which is to be titled “Geeks Vs. Jocks”. Until then, check ‘em out @ www.myspace.com/upperclassmen202 ….my favorite joint they have out currently is “Show it Off”.
