Back home…

in the temperate, never-consistent weather of the commonwealth…good ol’ vee aye.  Back to the updates!  Almost all the designs for the next drop are finalized (all but color choices), so I should be leaking a few shots in very very very near future.

dreary day

The last day-time shuttle launch (supposedly)…

I got to see the whole thing…all from the comforts of my friend’s back yard.  The vids aren’t the best quality, but the pics are pretty.

Flippin’ Sweet!

So while in Orlando, I was introduced to this place called “Sweet” and all they sell is sweets.  Sweet, right?  Ginormous cupcakes, some mini cookies, and frozen yogurt incase you don’t wanna consume a million calories while there.  It seems like such a simple idea, yet it works.

What a great time!

So I’m back in from the Sunshine State, and back on my grind (i.e. homework and my near minimum wage job).  I got a chance to kick back with some friends and just relax…and that was just what I needed.  I took a lot of pics and compiled some slide shows, but I’m only going to share a few, because I don’t want to bore you.

This one is just some random shots of things I saw while in the more touristy part of Orlando…

This one is some shots taken while we went out to the “grown people” part of town…as well as a not so great video.

Konichiwa Beeches!

Greetings all!  I am currently blogging from a not so plush hotel room in the Sunshine State.  The internet comes and goes, so I am not sure when I will be able to update again.  Anyway, since I am gone I figure I will fill you in on a little something to keep you entertained.  For all my under-21-aged friends (Raven and Long, this means you), you’re all allowed to attend this one.  This Sunday, Ced Hughes and Rebel E will be hosting the 1st annual SLAM DUNK Contest.  So wear your freshest pair of kicks (Dunks preferably) and show off!  $8 @ the door with a pair, $10 @ the door w/out ‘em.  P.S. there will be performances by Rebel E…which pretty much means it’ll be a dope show, even if you’re not there for the kicks.

Slam Dunk Contest

So are Carl’s Jr. and Hardees like the same thing?

Kinda like Rally’s and Checker’s I guess…even though this topic has no relevance to the video.  Happy Star saved his life.

“Yes, we’re…

open

Hooray!  The online store is finally open and linked to the site.  All you have to do is click the “Shop” tab.  I admit, it’s looking pretty bland/rough right now, but I set it up myself (with my limited HTML and CSS knowledge).  Despite the lack of proper insignia, I would like to point out that it is Paypal Verified; so you can place an order worry free.  Now, all I need to do is clean it up a bit…THEN ADD SOME NEW PRODUCT (which I hope to do veeeeery soon)!

Yesterday was nice day for a run

So, yesterday was amazing…approximately 80 degrees; crazy how we can go from snow to this all in the matter of a week.  Anyway, I decided to go for a run.  Some people just hate the thought of running, but maybe all those people need is a change of scenery.  If you haven’t had the chance to already, you should hit the Nolan Trail, which is about a 2-minute walk away from CNU’s campus.  It’s beautiful!  Running out there is great, almost therapeutic.  Here’s some of what I saw…

I don’t travel much…

…but I really want this bag, rolley, suitcase thingy (Wheelie Flight Deck).  It’s made by Burton, and has all kinds of great features like pockets/compartments galore, their patented CramZone, that lets you pack this thing nearly to the brink of explosion…plus it looks dope.  The colorway is what really caught my eye.  You can’t go wrong with that caribbean bluish color…kinda like the Angel & Devil SB dunks.  Anyway, it’s now available @ Karmaloop for the not so recession-friendly price of $180.

Tiffany & Co. x Porsche collab

Juuuust kidding, but it kinda looks like it could be.  Saw it on campus.  The pics don’t do this car justice!  It was the prettiest coolest looking paint job I’ve ever seen in person.  It was indeed the color of a Tiffany & Co. box, and no a lady was not driving it.  The only thing I’d do differently is the wheels.  It must be nice to be able to afford a luxury sports car, and on top of that…you have the money for a custom paint job.  We’ll be there…some day.

P.S. sorry for the not-so-HD quality.  Pics are courtesy of technological wonder known as THE CAMERA-PHONE…and not the OMNIA or Memoir :-P
