Most rap videos don’t get my attention. I like it, but for the most part I feel they are all the same. So I check out stuff like this. It’s inspiring to see the concepts and ideas that some artists come up with. Peep this new vid/track by Royksopp (the guys who provided the soothing tunes in the Geico commercial where the caveman is in the airport) titled “Happy Up There” and snatched from Lost At E Minor.
Not many music rap music videos catch my eye these days, but there was something about this one. It reminds me of Missy and old Ludacris videos. I think MIMS did a pretty good job on this one, what do you think?
I can’t be the only one who finds this amazing. I knew his improvisational skills were amazing, but I would’ve never expected this. Would this be considered reggaeton? Regardless, I’m sure this was just for fun on his part, yet he’s better than some of the people on the radio (Soldier Boy <cough>)…but I digress.
So school and the job are cancelled today! What does that mean for us? Fun times, right? Nope! Catching up on necessary work…yaaaaaay! (it’s difficult to convey sarcasm in writing)
Picked these up a few weeks ago @ my favorite skate/sneaker spot, Sole Brother. These were had for the reasonable price of about $90. For those who don’t know, they are located @:
772 West 20th Street in Norfolk, not too far from ODUs campus
Stop by and check them out. Their selection of clothing as well as kicks, decks, and other accessories is impeccable…and I hear that Chris is a pretty cool dude too.
P.S. their website is not fully indicative of their complete offering…they have waaay more!
