Patiently Waiting

Well as you probably have noticed, July 21st came and went…and I did NOT post up P.ersonal’s album.  There is a good reason for this.  Pretty much this album is his "baby" or "child" and he wants to make sure that it the most prepared that it can be before he releases it the world.  Peep the vid.  7 minutes may seem like quite a long while for those of you whom are afflicted with that dreaded AD/HD, but it is well worth it.  I knew I liked the guy (no-homo) and his music, but after watching the vid I have a whole new appreciation for him…you get a glimpse at just how deep he is.  He’s got great vision and I for one cannot wait until August 4th, which is the new release date for "Sydney in Theory"!  Oh yeah, check out his tee!

Is This Considered Country Music?

If it is, she makes me like it!

The Other Man on the Moon

I’m referring to my extended family, a one P.ersonal. I let you all know that his debut album SYDNEY IN THEORY is dropping in very near future (July 21 to be exact)…but to hold you over he dropped this gem of a mixtape with the folks over at Reup Spot, titled Noom Yob/Moon Boy….and I must say that I am impressed!  Based on the first material I heard from him I must say that it was a bit of a surprise, albeit a pleasant one, to see how deep and versatile this guy really is…but then again the cover of the tape warns you that it’s “Tracks That Sound Nothing Like The Album”.  I’m still not quite sure of how to classify his music; I mean, it is definitely hip-hop-ish, but I think it’s safe to say he’s in a league of his own.  Check out a few of the tracks I instantly put on repeat, then peep the download link @ the bottom!

Skytop II

Images of the Skytop II (2) have finally surfaced…weeks before the official unveling at the Agenda Trade Show.  Anyway, I have to say there are certain elements of the shoe that I like and that I have to admire Supra for attempting to be “fashion-forward” (I really do hate that term), but overall I am not impressed with the shoe.  Fortunately for the Supra-faithful, the shoes in these shots are just samples.  I would like to give Supra the benefit of the doubt, and assume they will deliver a dope shoe product when they are officially unveiled…Step 1, come out the gate with a better colorway.

It’s Mickey!…

Factz that is!

I know Mr. Factz has been hard at work, and now we get to see some of the fruits of his labor.  This track is titled “Here I Am”.  Personally, I like the beat (although everyone may not appreciate it as much as I do) but if that doesn’t do it for you the lyrics will…as they always do.

Made For Skate iPhone App

As you all know, I kind of have this shoe fetish deal going on…and that being the case, I often find myself trying to explain how a particular sneaker/shoe looks to friends/acquaintances/coworkers/etc. (usually with no luck, because they just don’t get it).  Well if you, like myself, have encountered this…fear no more!  Thanks to Apple’s iMFS app. you can just show them, instead of telling them what type of nubuck or textured leather your new favorite kicks are made of.  Best of all, you can have this peace of mind for $1.99, which is cheaper than a pair of laces from Fully Laced.

Best I Ever Had (video)

Don’t get me wrong, I loved the visual stimulation in this video…but for some reason I always expect better from Drake.  On another note, lmao @ the part when the girl goes “All you taught us how to do was stretch.”
