Palace 5
I was in DC a little while ago and I left my iPod charger at home. I looked up the nearest electronics store on my GPS and it indicated that a Best Buy was about 1.5 miles from my hotel. Long story short, the GPS was wrong…ended up being more like 3 miles (at least that’s how it felt walking in the heat). Anyway, while walking to the store I passed quite a few shops. A lot were interesting, like some place that only sold vintage furniture, but only one tempted me enough from the sidewalk to actually walk in. Dope art displays, tons of clothes, tons of skate decks and supplies, but more importantly…tons of kicks! I had quite a few more pics, but I guess I messed those up when I was harassing the cast and crew of The Real World in Georgetown…but that’s another story.

Flicks to Look Out For!
The Wolfman
A movie called “Wolfman” about a wolfman could be dope.
Youth in Revolt
I’m a fan of just about anything with Michael Cera in it…I remember watching “Arrested Development” for his awkward humor.
Inception
Maybe I’m tripping because it’s so late, but anything gravity-defying fights and acrobatics has me sold. I’m pretty stoked about this one.
Despicable Me
This one isn’t particularly new, but I am a big kid so cartoons still get my full, undivided attention…plus I hear Pharrell has a big part in the scoring/soundtrack of this one.

brandUn DeShay is Back at it Again
I was beginning to get a bit worried about one of my favorite rappers, because I hadn’t heard anything from him since Volume 2! Well ladies and gents, that is until now. Apparently Mr. DeShay has been hard at work on several projects and these two leaks have done nothing but whet my appetite. Check out the tracks and let brandUn know what you think for yourself…he’s a pretty down-to-earth dude. The first one is titled “Imaginary Weekend With Her” and is produced by KReam Team (produced “Headphones and Motivational Speakers” on Volume 2).

The next track is titled “If This Is How Love Feels” and is actually the remix to the track by Phony PPl that features him on the 2nd verse.

Get Your Fix!
As of yet, I have noticed the growth and spread of fixie bicycles + riders and their culture in general. I hate when I’m in my car riding down Jefferson Ave. and a group of kids defy death as they narrowly dodge cars across the multiple lanes of traffic. I can only assume that you guys are here to stay, but I digress. I have never really gotten into this whole “scene” until now I suppose. Call me “sexist” or “chauvenistic”, but when you add the component of the female frame, just about any equation is instantly a “better” one. I’m not saying that I’d consider all of these chicks young ladies to be hot attractive, but they accent the bikes nicely (or vice versa perhaps). Check what I mean –>

New Mouth to Mouth Method!
My favorite Norwegians, Dennis and Kristian (bka the electro/house super duo Munn Til Munn Metoden), are at it again. Just out is there new Remix EP, which features a few old faves, as well as some new awesome material. The only complaint I have is that it’s too short lol…which is to be expected from an EP. 7 Amazing tracks from “Intro” to “Outtro”; yes, their opening and closing acts are just as good as the in-between. If you’re into the genre, it’s definitely worth the download…if this isn’t typically “your thing” you should give it a try…it’s dope! When you guys make it to the U.S. be sure to let me know.
