The Fatboy Slim x Intalek Experiment

I know I’m waaaay late on this one, but when something’s this good the old saying “better late than never” couldn’t hold truer. I’ve been a fan of Intalek ever since my bro put me on to him. On his project previous to this one, I remember the one track that stood out was a freestyle that seemed to go on forever…and all I remember thinking to myself was “This dude is craaazy (like in a good way)!” Well now this is his latest mixtape which is described as “A mash-up of Fatboy Slim’s work intertwined with Intalek’s lyrical prowess!” and I have to say that the first three words that came to mind after giving it a listen were WOW!, different, and DOPE. Do yourself a favor and head over to his Bandcamp site so you can take a listen, then if you feel so inclined you can download and sync to your digital device. Enjoy!
The Prequel

My dude Justin Taylor is getting ready to release his next project which is simply titled “The Prequel.” Spence Tuck did this trailer in which he kinda explains what he considers his style of music to be. We already know he has the vocals and if the production in the trailer is any indication of what we can expect beat-wise on the album, then he’s definitely in good shape.
C.B TV – Endless Waltz

My man C.B TV recently turned 20, and oddly enough on his birthday he gave us all a gift. If the Gundam cover does not give it away, after listening to the 1st track it becomes quite apparent that anime is was a major influence on the album and I for one think it’s refreshing to hear something different. Something else worth mentioning is that he handled all of the production for this album on his own…so don’t ask him who produced any of the tracks lol. I’ve been a fan of hers (Kid A) ever since I heard her on “It Could Be Us” with Ced Hughes. One thing that I did NOT know about her that in addition to her solo music she also has a band called Cinemax. I’m not quite sure when “Soft Metallics” dropped, but they have an EP available to preview on Kid A’s Tindeck page. If you like what you hear, the download link can be found below. Enjoy!
